Short version: ConnectX is provided as-is. Follow the guidelines. India jurisdiction. ₹49/month Pro, cancel any time.

1. Acceptance

By using ConnectX you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. Operated by Aravind Labs, Bengaluru, India.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older. Lying about your age is grounds for permanent termination. You must have legal authority to enter into this agreement.

3. License to use

We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ConnectX for personal and educational purposes, subject to these Terms.

4. Prohibited conduct

See Community Guidelines. Briefly:

• No CSAM, sexual content, threats, harassment, hate speech
• No spam, scams, or off-topic promotion
• No recording of participants without explicit consent
• No circumventing moderation tools (multiple accounts to evade bans, etc.)
• No automated scraping, bots, or abuse of the API

5. Content ownership

Your chat messages and any IP shared in rooms belong to you. By posting them on ConnectX, you grant us a limited license to display them for moderation and history purposes only.

You agree NOT to share copyrighted material in chat without permission, NOT to share confidential or NDA-protected information, and to comply with all applicable laws when sharing content.

6. Subscriptions (ConnectX Pro)

• Price: ₹49 per month (inclusive of applicable taxes)
• Billing: monthly auto-renewal via Razorpay until cancelled
• Cancellation: any time via the dashboard. You retain Pro features until the end of the current period
• Refunds: full refund within 7 days of first payment if you've barely used the service. Pro-rata refund considered for genuine cases (tech issues). Email [Refund] with details.
• Pro tier benefits: unlimited room hosting, up to 12 participants per room, private rooms, verified badge, priority support
• Prices may change with 30 days notice; existing subscriptions honor the price at signup until cancelled

7. Disclaimer of warranties

CONNECTX IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We don't guarantee uptime, accuracy, fitness for purpose, or compatibility with your specific use case. Live video quality depends on your network and device.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aravind Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Aggregate liability is capped at the amount you have paid us in the prior 12 months, or ₹588 (₹49 × 12), whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Aravind Labs harmless from claims arising from your use of ConnectX, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or any content you contribute.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or for any reason at our discretion. You may delete your account any time via the dashboard.

11. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The Indian IT Act 2000, IT Rules 2021, and Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 apply where relevant.

12. Modifications

We may revise these Terms. Material changes are announced 14 days in advance via email and the homepage. Continued use after changes = acceptance.
